Jazzy’s Jewels Toy Aussies puppies are naturally reared.

 

I raise my dogs and puppies this way because I love my dogs and I want them to live as long and healthy a life as possible.  I believe that today’s dogs are overloaded with chemicals and toxic poisons and this causes cancer, epilepsy and autoimmune disorders including hypothyroidism, allergies, joint disease, digestive issues and parasite loads.

If you are not familiar with natural rearing, here are some key concepts:

 

• Jazzy’s Jewels Toy Aussies are fed a fresh, raw food diet.  This includes raw meat with bone in, organs, and nutritional herbs and oils.  Commercial diets are laden with genetically engineered foods, waste products and scraps which are cooked and extruded with artificial vitamins and minerals added.  I have feeding raw diets to my dogs since 1997.

 

• Jazzy’s Jewels Toy Aussies are not dewormed.  Healthy dogs are not good hosts for parasites.  Our puppies have fecals done before leaving .

 

• Jazzy’s Jewels Toy Aussies are not subjected to flea, tick or heartworm medications.  These substances are toxic and these toxins do not create healthy dogs.  We prefer to build the immune system of our dogs so they do not suffer from these parasites.

 

• Jazzy’s Jewels Toy Aussies are treated with natural, holistic pet care products, including colloidal silver, herbs and homeopathy.  We avoid the use of allopathic medicines such as drugs and vaccines unless it is an emergency situation because they suppress symptoms and create chronic disease. 

 

Our breeding pair are treated with colloidal silver to boost their immunity even though they are healthy, to undo the damage done by commercial foods and vaccines in previous generations in order to decrease the chance of chronic disease such as allergies and cancer in our puppies as much as possible.

 

• Jazzy’s Jewels Toy Aussies have not been vaccinated (note that rabies is required by law in some states). We are happy to provide you with an unvaccinated puppy and that is our strong preference.

 

Vaccinations cause many health problems including cancer, arthritis, bowel issues, allergies, skin issues, behavioural problems and more. Every vaccine has the potential to kill your puppy or cause a lifetime of misery due to chronic disease so it is important that vaccines are given minimally and only for diseases that are prevalent and for which there is no effective cure. The vaccine must also work to prevent that particular disease (which is not the case in many circumstances).

 

If you prefer to vaccinate your puppy, we recommend that you do so once only, at  16 weeks of age. It is essential that only one vaccine is given at a time, not 5 or 7 as is commonly done.  The more vaccines given at once, the greater the risk of vaccine associated damage: including catching the very disease that you are trying to vaccinate against.

 

Vaccines are not necessary to provide immunization and gradual exposure of your puppy to the environment along with a quality diet will easily provide him with the immunity he needs to resist disease. It is important to remember that vaccines do not immunize: they sensitize. The reality is, they over-sensitize and the dog becomes sensitized not only to the virus injected, but to his own body tissues as well. This is auto-immune disease and the very real consequence to modified live vaccines.

 

• Jazzy’s Jewels Toy Aussies live in our home as family. They also receive plenty of time in the outdoor air and in the sun. Our puppies are heavily socialized and by the time they go to their new homes, they will have logged many miles in my car, going to the post office, and to the dog park ( In the pouch). They are  raised with methods from Puppy Culture.  (see more here)  They also exposed to vacuums, televisions, radios, and other household noises. They also get exposure to children and small animals to make them well adjusted, well socialized adults.

 

• Jazzy’s Jewels Toy Aussies are not exposed to toxic cleaning chemicals in the home.  We use only environmentally friendly products made from natural, harmless ingredients such as essential oils, lemon and orange oil, vinegar and more.

 

• Jazzy’s Jewels Toy Aussies are kept with the litter for 10 or 12 weeks.  It is much more expensive and a lot more work for me to keep them longer but the puppies are much more confident, calm and well adjusted when they learn to interact in a dog pack for as long as possible.

 

• JJazzy’s Jewels Toy Aussiesare trained using only positive, scientifically sound training methods.  We do not advocate any corrections; they are not only unnecessary but also harmful to the dogs.  If you visit our home, you will see how well behaved our dogs are.  They are genuinely interested in pleasing me and happy to do as I ask because we have a long history of good things happening when we are together.
